Recap
Antigravity Workshop

🎉 Thanks everyone for attending the Vibe Coders Tokyo Antigravity Workshop!
It was amazing to see familiar faces and meet so many new builders at Google Shibuya. A huge thank you to our speaker, Sumit Chandel 🤩 ✨ for the deep dive, and to everyone who shared their side projects during the networking session.
You can still complete the course here. https://lnkd.in/gjfTM8fQ
Top tips for Google Anti-gravity
- 🥳 Control your tokens by switching modes. Use Fast Mode for simple terminal commands and Planning Mode for complex architectural tasks.
- 🥳 Use the browser extension. The agent can read the DOM, visually reproduce web app bugs, and generate a video recording of the fix to show you its work.
- 🥳 Keep rules modular. Create isolated agent "Skills" for specific workflows to avoid overloading the context window with too many instructions at once.
Showcase Highlights
- 👉 Stefania Druga: Tested the limits of Gemini 3.1 Pro by having the agent build a custom benchmark to measure how well models support research workflows, using the WildChat dataset.
- 👉 Joe: Built a real-time IELTS English speaking simulator, which led to registering his first commercial company.
- 👉 Dash: Built a Japan FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) calculator that simulates NISA fund returns and taxes.
- 👉 Brilliant: Created an interactive D3JS visualizer for recruiters to group developer GitHub profiles based on their project history.
- 👉 We also saw a zero-code 3D snowboard renderer from Alastair Tse, an interview tracker, and a local parking spot finder app by Naveed Maqbool
Tools discussed
- 👾 Google Anti-gravity (AI coding environment and browser)
