Vibe Coders SG #3 — Designing with AI, without the slop (Apple Platforms Edition) 🔥 took over the Apple Developer Center Singapore, together with iOS Dev Scout. The focus was on the workflows and techniques that help you design with AI without the AI slop.

• 📸 @soons presented Pico cam: a tiny instant camera for iPhone that turns the Dynamic Island into a hidden Polaroid.

• 🐾 @ReynardLee & May Yee presented Dojojojo: Tamagotchi-meets-Duolingo for fitness, where workouts feed a pixel pet, a card collection, and even a computer-vision push-up checker — built with design-reference guardrails so the AI output stays on-brand.

• 🚀 Meng shared the new DesignCode 5 and the importance of incorporating taste in the age of agentic coding, through a live SwiftUI + Codex demo showing how agents can ship a full iOS app with a single prompt. He also shared how the craft left for humans has now shifted to taste — to create amazing macOS apps like DreamCut, and more!

• 🖱️ @jiachenyee presented Liquid Glass on Apple Platforms: why an app can be "great" and still "not feel right," and how Apple's new design system can help you fix it using native controls first.

• 🤖 @liyuxuan presented LAIOS: a local multi-agent orchestration system he built for himself, as well as some strategies to build great apps — roles vs. disposable agents, plan-before-code, self-improving loops, and a live graph of personal taste and AI-curated moodboard used to build Joodle, his amazing iOS doodle journaling app.

• 🍜 @Kimberley presented Jiak Simi: a Singapore palate compass that learns how you actually eat, then answers jiak simi? with hawkers, halal, walking time, and a why — not what's trending or paid.

• ⏰ @edmundlim presented two personal tools: an AI usage-limit tracker with a home-screen widget (and a ping when your plan resets), plus a sticky-note reminder board synced across phone and Mac.
